April 25 Sundevil2 17 posts | When out to get a new pair of batting gloves and started to read the claims or shall I say BS. My question is this: does it matter which type of glove you use ? Some us work gloves and others pay $48 for hi-tech - does the type of glove make or break a swing ? |

And having to buy a pair is a waste. Have 3 new gloves for the right hand I don't use. you can get them for less by shopping. I don't think use has anything to do with the swing, other than for a grip if your han gets slippery. Synthetic, leather, and other materials all feel, act & wear in different ways. |
April 25 santo Men's 55 41 posts | I personally don't like anything between my hand and the bat when I swing. There is a slight loss of control by putting a substance between your hand and the bat. I would only use a glove if your going out to hit 50-100 balls in BP. With that said, if you still prefer a glove, I would suggest the thinest (probably most expensive) glove you can find. Work gloves should never be used i a game... |
