| Feb. 25 Lecak Men's 60 1026 posts | I thought this might be an interesting idea to share. If it is irrelevant I apologize. I just got back from a golf long drive contest. I entered as a Senior. I recommend this to anyone who loves to compete. What a rush. The ability to swing away whether it is golf or softball from the discussions I've read keeps alot of Seniors in the game. Believe it or not I have geared my workouts to hitting long drives and it has helped my softball game. My hand eye coordination is better, I work my core to death and my hamstrings and back don't bother me anymore. I would guess that my bat speed has increased. The other benefit is I've gone from a 24 handicap to single digits. If there is a competition in your home town I would highly recommend this. Hands down though softball over golf for me. Thanks for indulging me. Whatever you do stay in shape and enjoy. |
