12 man team. one player must sit out a maximum of one inning a game. can the player sitting out be brought back in during the the same inning they were sitting out if there isn't a injured player and another player than sit out?

Sounds like all 12 are playing and you have two extra hitters. If that's the case, you can go in and out as often as you want. If you are not on the starting line up you can go in only once as a Sub.
