July 30 taits Men's 65 4548 posts | Might help if you gave all the info on it like name or manufacturer. But if you're referring to that Miken, the only advantage I see is weight and or load type (Bal or EL) exchange out. Stick with a 1 piece. Another company had one, It didn't last long on the mkt. It too had the same type advantage or disadvantage It's a personal thing, imo.. |
July 30 BruceinGa Men's 70 3233 posts | I don't think that I've ever owned a two piece bat. I've hit the Worth Hybrid and Demarini Geezer. Both are good bats, Geezer for seniors and the Hybrid for ASA play. I see the young guys swinging the Worth Mutant and the Worth Mayhem. The Mutant is a two piec bat. I have a couple of Mayhems and like them. You should post your questions on softballfans.com. I'm sure you will get plenty of replies. |

July 30 seniorsbfart 44 posts | the two senior bats I have are one piece. I need another bat for a league that is I think USSA or ASA, not sure. So I wondered if a two piece bat gives better performace at the lower levels of play. It seems they do not. I tried the Geezer but it did not fit me well. I like the U2 but have a hard time with bad wrist. thank you all for your help. |
