We are starting a 55 and over slow pitch team in Savannah Lakes Village near McCormick, SC. Does anyone know of teams in this area we could play? (40 mi. north of Augusta, GA on SC side of the river.

You missed the tournaments in Augusta, and Myrtle Beach. There is one in late June in Mairetta, Ga and also one in Burlington, NC.
Check out softballplayersassoc.com for the dates and locations.
