Alabama player looking for a 50's team
I live in Birmingham, played with Ga. Longshots last year. Played all outfield positions, 2nd, SS, and 3rd. Not a homerun hitter, I do run well and in good shape.

Someone should give David a try. He played on my team 2 years ago. He is a very fine person, trustworthy and dependable. As stated, he is a great utility player--can help out most anywhere, spray hitter, great shape, good runner, smart player. You will not be disappointed. Good luck, Dave, from Steve--wish you were 60, I still need 2 outfielders!

I wish you could play with me. Should be an exception to the bordering states rule that would allow brothers to play together. David will be a great addition to your team. Little bro you might want to post some contact info on here.

Hope that works out for you. I think Robert (firebird 400) is still available. He would be a good pick-up for sure.
Do you think the team might be interested in coming to Birmingham on Feb. 27?

Hey Robert, I see that I tried to give you a few more horsepower!
Just as in David's case, Robert should be given serious consideration. Very good ballplayer and even better man. Very good fielding pitcher and solid hitter.
Robert, I am sure we will run across each other's path during the season. Take care.
