I'm trying to arrange a history of softball, including antique/ outdated equipment. Most senior players are familiar with the earlier equipment and rules, etc. I am seeking to build a hall of fame type "display" from the archives and basements and even personal accounts from the beggining days of our game. Perhaps a shrine of sorts to our heritage. I have a ball and glove from my dad that was used on board an aircraft carrier during WW II and a collection of bats and gloves that I personally used and would like to add to. Intent is to get the stuff verified and maybe find a permanent location (Hall Of Fame??) to display it. My e-m= curt_01092@yahoo.com, ph# 413 436 5399, pob 432 West Warren, Ma.01092. Anything, even/especially memories are welcomed. Thanks!! Curt Snow: Baystate Bombers 60 Major.

I was thinking Joe Lecak would be a fine exhibit in your antique section.
