| April 25 Lecak Men's 60 1026 posts | The LVSSA just completed our first 40 and over tournament this past weekend. The feedback was pretty good. The membership did a great job and ran a very smooth event for our first time with this age group. I believe we will be offering this up at least once a year and possibly look at another date down the road. Las Vegas makes a great attraction. Any 40's and over reading this we offer up some of the most player friendly rules for your age group. We had a 12 HR limit with a DBO after the limit is reached. The players seemed to really like this. We allow the over 40 crowd to use the senior bats. We have 7 run innings with an open inning. We use the 1 and 1 count with a courtesy foul ball. Our games go 60 minutes and then the open inning is called. Bracket play is 70 minutes. The games were crisp, on time and for the most part 7 innings were played except when the mercy rules were reached. We also have no middle rule. The feedback from the players was very good. Great job again from the LVSSA membership thanks for allowing us to have a great weekend with our friends and bang the ball around a bit. |
| April 30 AirMexican34 Women's 40 4 posts | LVSSA - Great job guys. This event was a blast. Some great battles on Saturday. Never the less, it was a great event to be a part of. Look forward to playing here again, but this time I would like to bring Team Mando / Easton. Team Smash, thanks Bibi for letting me be a part of your squad this past wkend.
