| Aug. 19 DaveDowell Men's 70 4323 posts | DRAFT Game Schedules and Brackets for the 2010 Northern Championships in Lansing, MI, have been posted and are available from the links below and on the event's Tournament Page ... As always, these TENTATIVE schedules are subject to change and become final ONLY when released as "OFFICIAL" at the Manager's meeting the evening before play commences ... NOTE: Managers who do NOT attend the Manager's Meeting will be presumed to be fully informed on ALL matters discussed there, including Schedule, Rule and/or Format changes ... | Aug. 23 DaveDowell Men's 70 4323 posts | SESSION #2 REVISIONS - There have been significant revisions to the Men's 50-AAA, 50/55-Gold and 60-AA Divisions as follows: • MEN'S 50-AAA and 50/55-GOLD - One team, Storm (IL), requested to be moved UP in rating from 50-AA to 50-AAA under their belief they are stronger than a typical AA rated team. Their request was granted, changing the 50/55-Gold Division from five to four teams and the 50-AAA Division from six to seven teams. Revisions were required to both Round Robin and Elimination Brackets for both Divisions. NO OTHER DIVISIONS at the Lake Alliance complex were affected. • MEN'S 60-AA - The Chicago Hitmen 60's (IL) withdrew from the tournament two weeks ago due to injuries. The deletion was not made in our entries database and I erroneously included them in the initial schedules. The 60-AA Division was reduced from five to four teams. Revisions were required to the Round Robin and Elimination Bracket for the Division. NO OTHER DIVISIONS at the East Lansing complex were affected. The above revisions are now posted on-line ... | Aug. 28 DaveDowell Men's 70 4323 posts | MEN'S 50-MAJOR AND 50-MAJOR+ • Revised Saturday schedule to accommodate the Major+ teams' desire to conclude their tournament by Saturday evening ... Third 50-Major+ round robin games cancelled and the respective opponents paired against each other in a non-standings 50-Major Round Robin game ... The 50-Major+ championship series begins at 11:00 AM, with additional game(s) at 3:30 PM and 5:00 PM (If needed on first available field) ... Schedule revisions, along with all game results through Friday evening, have been posted and are available from the above links or from the event Tournament Page... |
