| Sept. 15 DaveDowell Men's 70 4323 posts | DRAFT Game Schedules and Brackets for SESSION #1 of the 2010 Northeast Championships in Cape May, NJ, have been posted and are available from the links below and on the event's Tournament Page ... As always, these TENTATIVE schedules are subject to change and become final ONLY when released as "OFFICIAL" at the Manager's meeting the evening before play commences ... NOTE: Managers who do NOT attend the Manager's Meeting will be presumed to be fully informed on ALL matters discussed there, including Schedule, Rule and/or Format changes ... | Sept. 16 DaveDowell Men's 70 4323 posts | REVISION #1 • The Friday (only) schedule at the Avalon Park Fields has been moved LATER by one game slot, with games now starting at 10:30 AM rather than the previously published 9:00 AM. This change affects all Friday games in the 50-Major and 55-Men's Divisions. Several teams in those divisions profess an inability to get a sufficient number of players on site at the earlier game times. The revisions (dated 09/17/2010) are reflected in the online DRAFT schedules and master games grid. |
| Sept. 20 DaveDowell Men's 70 4323 posts | GOSHEN-DAVIES-DETOUR • There is major road construction underway (started 09/20/2010) on the primary route to the Goshen-Davies Sports Complex. The road closure near the complex requires everyone to approach the complex from the north, rather than the more efficient route from the south. Most GPS systems will suggest the southerly approach route. There are three options we suggest, two from the Cape May area, and a third from anywhere north of the Avalon Blvd. exit (County Road 601) from the Garden State Parkway. Here is a link to the three suggested routes. Please consider leaving a few minutes earlier on your first day of play to allow sufficient time to get to the fields.
