Aug. 15 Airbosn Men's 70 329 posts | Have you notice the Little League regionals on TV? I have noticed that a good number of the bats being used are composites and as of yesterday the Western regionals have hit 96 home runs vice 60 for all of last year. When I was on the Board of Directors (1977-86) for a local Little League we were a wood bat league, no metal allowed. My the times have changed. |

Kids are getting better every year and most of the kids at the higher level like 11 and 12 year old majors for instance are going to baseball clinics year round. The 11 & 12 year old kids from where I live and my son plays in Whalley (Surrey, BC,) just won the Canadian Little League Nationals and are off to the Worlds Series. |
