We had a great time, finishing about 6:30 Sunday evening. This was the first time that I played at the JR Jones fields instead of Exchange Park. It would have been fun to play at Exchange, with their 280' fences but we enjoyed JR Jones fields. The outfields looked smooth, seldom seeing bad hops. We played in the 50 Platinum division, going undefeated against some great teams, Randy Smith and Team Arkansas. Great job teammates... Mike Willimason, Tater, Chop, Don Ward and all the rest.
We used a good Baden Fire ball on the 300' fences. Once the sun went down the ball really started to fly!! We had three high scoring games and saw several others. I love the 7 runs per inning limit, with the last inning open. We scored 41 in one game and didn't get to hit in the open inning.
As for the new Reebok Legend, we had an endload and a balanced, most used the endloaded one. I saw Kitrell's, the La Legends and Texas Legends hitting them. At least 6 on our team were hitting it.
I had intended to hit my MM Combat but after taking some bp with the Legend I decided to try it. I wasn't disappointed, having a great weekend.

The td did a great job! I really like having an official score keeper plus score boards.
The negatives are that we didn't finish until 6:30pm on Sunday, arriving home at 1:00am on Monday. There were also some confusion on the umpires part on what exactly an illegal and no pitch was. I'm sure they will work that out before the next tournament.
I'm hoping SSUSA will change some of their rules to make them more player friendly as SPA has.
Congrats to all the champions!
