Big League Dreams Notes

SSUSA has made arrangements with BLD for the allowable use of all SSUSA approved 'senior bats'. This means you will be able to use your usual assortment of bats for this event. Each team in Session #1 will play at least one full day at the Big League Dreams facility in Las Vegas. Please become familiar with their Park Policies ...

Entrance Fees
• Patrons 13 years and older pay $3.00 upon entry and will receive a token worth $1.00.
• Children 12 and under participating in a sport pay $1.00 upon entry and will receive a token worth $1.00
• The token is redeemable at the park stadium club restaurant or concession stand
• Spectators 12 and under are admitted FREE!

Guidelines
• If you leave the park, and plan to return the same day, please get a hand stamp for re-entry.
NO FOOD, BEVERAGES, or ICE CHESTS/COOLERS may be brought into the park.
• NO Overnight Recreation Vehicle parking is allowed at any Big League Dreams Facility.
• Alcoholic beverages are NOT permitted to be consumed in the parking lot area at any time.

Big League Dreams Sports Park is privately owned. No government agencies are involved in the operations. As a private facility, some things will be different than what you are used to. The policies that need to be enforced enable us to offer a sports experience that is unmatched anywhere!

Without strictly enforcing these polices, this park could not exist.

Thank you for your cooperation and enjoy your visit to Big League Dreams Sports Park!

SESSION #1 REVISION • The Men's 70's Division has been revised due to us erroneously including two teams in the tournament that had previously withdrawn ... The Men's 70's were completely re-drafted for both seeding games and the brackets ... There was a ripple effect to the Men's 64-AAA Division with minor changes being required on Tuesday and Wednesday ... The changes have been posted with an effective revision date of 11/10/2010 ... We apologize for any inconveniences ... Thank you and good luck to all!

The Session #2 DRAFT Schedules and Brackets are currently under construction and will be posted here within minutes of being approved by Terry and Fran ... The 140 teams entered for that session are eight more teams than any session in any previous World Championships ... Anticipated release date is by the end of this week ... Checking here is a much better approach than calling the office to make the same inquiry, sich they'll be here first.

SESSION #2 FIELD ASSIGNMENTS • Field assignments for the Winter World Championships in Las Vegas have been released ... There are 140 teams playing a potential of 448 games over the three days ... This represents the single largest tournament session in SSUSA history, slightly edging Session #3 of the recently concluded 2010 World Championships in Phoenix (132 teams/426 games) that held the record for less than a month ... Thank you for your participation and good luck to all! ...

MINOR REVISION - MEN'S 55-AAA • There has been a minor revision to the Big League Dreams Seeding Games Pool for Friday morning ... CJ & S Express (AZ) won't have to play two games at 8:00 AM using split squads after all ... Totally my error in doubling them up in the previous version ... One team, Titans 55 (CA), is the only team affected by this change, now playing their first game at 8:00 AM instead of 9:15 AM ... The revisions are reflected in the online schedules ... Thanks!

Thanks Dave but I was hopeful that CJS could play themselves. Ha Gary Ingle
