Many times we give the assoc. a hard time wanting team re-ratings & other complaints: this thread is strictly for Shout Outs to any assoc. or person of that assoc. that you care to mention. Nothing negative please!!!

I play mostly SPA/SSUSA: so I would like to thank these assoc. for having the dream of putting SSB on the map; so that us OLD guys would have something to do to remind us of what we once were. I may not be as good as I once was; but I am as good "once" as I ever was.

Shout Out to Dave & whomever else was involved for bringing sanity & respect back to the board & also to ALL other posters that have taken this meandering site into a new/better direction for the best interest of all caring SSB players.

Another shout out to Dave Dowell and the whole staff in Sacramento.

Each of us has certain talents that allow us to be exceptional in some endeavor(s). I have said a number of times that Dave is beyond exceptional when it comes to scheduling tournaments. He is also exceptional at execution, which depends very much on effective scheduling and other preparation. I would guess he's been doing this for a long time.

When challenged with responsibilities outside of our natural talents, we stretch and we become more whole. Dave's stretch may be administering the message board. Cheers to Dave for accepting this responsibility and stretching. I'll wager noone else at SSUSA wants this in their job description!

Shout out to Fran Dowell for using her strengths to promote our favorite passtime, and for stretching in her ability to stand up to our occasional abuse, not take things personally and maintain so many great relationships.

And shout out to Terry Hennessey for leading this pack and focusing all their passion for our mutual benefit.

Since there are to be no negatives here, I think the jobs that Dave and Fran do are top notch! I really appreciate them taking time to answer my ranting emails! When you write to someone, you would think they would have the courtesy to write back, and they do. SSUSA would be in trouble without them!
