Discussion: Looking to play May 1!

Although I could be available for any January tournaments, I am not looking to hook up until May 1. I am a tax consultant, and will soon be buried under mounds of paperwork. After May 1, I only work 2 days a week, so I guess that means I am semi-retired. My work friends made me an ID card with my pic, when I disappeared for 3 weeks. It said that it is to be worn by temporary help. LOL! You can see that I am free to play whenever, after May 1. I will be back in softball condition close to or before May 15. Also, I do not care if your team is sponsored or not, as I have no problem paying my own way, BUT a sponsor would be acceptible.

When at 100%, I can hit and play pitcher and first base. I am looking to hook up with a 60 Major team or 55 Major team or both. I am willing to sub for either or both. Just want to get in at least 8-10 tournaments in 2011 between May 1 and the end of the year. I am from California and have no problem traveling to tournaments in California, Nevada, Arizona, and if need be Oregon. Do not care to travel any further to play softball, except maybe Colorado, as I have several friends that live there now. Mostly prefer to play in California and Nevada.

If any team needs a player after May 1, then please let me know some time after New Year's. OR, keep me in mind, in case things change on your team by May 1. My email address is DukeLA4@aol.com. Please put something recognizable in the subject matter, or your email may go to spam and stay there. Since I have plenty of time to decide, I will not commit immediately, so I can keep all of my options open.

Have a good year everyone!
