Feb. 17 steve64 3 posts | this is my second year of senior softball and I have some questions. What is the age breakdown-I am 64 does that mean I qualify for teams 60 plus? or since i will be 65 in august do I qualify for 65 teams? how is a player rated? and what do the ratings mean? simple questions to most but I won't ask teammates because do not want to sound ignorant! thank you to everyone for the responses. |

You can play with any age bracket that is lower 50-54, 55-59 60-64. if you are playing on a team that is ranked AA then you are a AA player, the same for AAA, Major and Major Plus. There are some other points about being rated and where you can play. I think that a player that is on a AAA team and wants to leave that team he can drop to AA. however a Major player cannot drop two ratings. he can only drop to AAA and not AA. I hope this helps some. Thanks Harry |
