SCHEDULE ADVISORY • There is a mid-range forecast for possible inclement weather, primarily overnight Friday and sporadically on Saturday, in the San Diego area. All tournament "play" or "no-play" decisions will be made AT THE FIELDS OF PLAY AT GAME TIME. Teams should be present and ready to play as scheduled for each facility. Teams risk a forfeit result if not available at game time. The on-site Tournament Directors are both highly competent and experienced at schedule modifications should they become necessary. Good luck to all!

INCLEMENT WEATHER PROCEDURES • Here are the procedures to be employed, in order of priority, if the San Diego Tournament is affected by inclement weather on Saturday:

• Field availability permitting (e.g., facility Local League conflicts on Friday night), move earlier Saturday games into later Friday. (This is being done at Poway and possibly at Santee);
• Defer Saturday's schedule, in its entirety, to a later start time, preserving all games and sequencing of same. There are no facility conflicts for Saturday evening/night at either Santee or Poway;
• Cancel/reduce seeding round game(s) to a lesser number than originally scheduled to preserve the complete Bracket Schedule. For Men's 40-Masters, who play no Friday seeding games, a potential full cancellation of their seeding games would result in the Bracket being seeded by blind draw;
• Change remainning Seeding (first priority) and/or Bracket game formats as required, including, but not limited to: [a] starting 1-1 count; [b] reduced innings; or [c] 1-pitch;
• Change Bracket format from Three-game-guarantee, where applicable, to Double Elimination format. Men's 40-Masters Bracket Games #5 and #6 may be determined by coin toss rather than being played, since neither game is an elimination game, regardless of prior bracket game results;
• Change Bracket format from Double Elimination, where applicable, to Single Elimination format;

As a reminder, ALL 'play' or 'no-play' decisions will be made AT THE FIELDS OF PLAY AT GAME TIME. Please stay in touch with your Tournament Directors on-site.
