| Feb. 27 southpaw Men's 70 1077 posts | Thanks to everyone who participated this past Saturday (26th) in our little practice tourney. Great competition, wonderful attitudes,weather was perfect. Kittrell's finished first in their 6 team pool and Longshots finished first in their 4 team pool. Would teams be interested in coming back in early June? |
| Feb. 27 Tater50 Men's 60 336 posts | Steve: great tourney, great weather, great fun; Columbus 55's hit a big snag when they met Kittrell's. I think everyone in the lineup hit a HR at least once. They will be a major force against whomever they play. Even though they hit a lot of HRs; I was glad for the singles rule after the limit; very safe for the pitcher rule. Tater50 Tater50 |
| March 1 southpaw Men's 70 1077 posts | Hey John, sorry for the delay in responding--ill all week, felt better Friday and Saturday, then relapsed It Sunday. Z-pak yesterday, starting to mend. Also, sorry I did not have time to stop and fellowship. 60's were at the bottom of the hill away from the rest of the tourney, so did a lot of running back and forth. It looks like Kittrells is very strong, but Columbus came on strong as well. Take care. |
