DRAFT Game Schedules and Brackets for SESSION #1 (Men's 65+ and more senior) of the 2011 Spring World Championships in Mesquite, NV, have been posted and are available from the links below and on the event's Tournament Page ... As always, these TENTATIVE schedules are subject to change and become final ONLY when released as "OFFICIAL" at the Manager's meeting the evening before play commences ...

NOTE: Managers who do NOT attend will be presumed to be fully informed on ALL matters (such as schedule changes, tourney formats and rules issues) discussed at the meeting. Tournament rosters are “frozen” as of the Manager’s Meeting. NO on-site player additions are allowed without Tournament Director approval before team’s first game. Managers who do not attend Manager Meeting, and do not send a representative, will be prohibited from beginning tournament play before check-in with Field Director and are prohibited from Roster additions ...

The Master Games & Fields Grid and Participating Teams List have also been posted ... Good luck to all!

MAJOR SCHEDULE REVISIONS - SESSION #2 • There have been multiple, and extensive, revisions to the schedules for Session 2 of the Spring World Championships, as follows:

WOMEN'S 50+ DIVISION - The Women's 50+ Division has been cancelled as the result of the teams' withdrawal over disagreements with the SSUSA over the composition of the Division and the format of play.
WOMEN'S 65+ DIVISION - The Women's 65+ Division has been moved from the Old Mill Ball Fields to Pioneer Park, filling the game slots formerly reserved for the Women's 50+ Division. The Old Mill Ball Fields will not be used this year.
MEN'S 50-PLATINUM and 50-AAA - The 50-Major+/Major (Platinum) Division remains comprised of nine teams. Arizona Security has been re-rated (at the team's request) from AAA to Major, replacing another team that had not actually entered the tournament but was inadvertently left on the team list. The related effect was to reduce the 50-AAA from seven to six teams.
MEN'S 55-PLATINUM - The 55-Major+/Major (Platinum) Division remains at six teams, but is now evenly divided at three teams each. The Greco Hitmen were re-rated from Major to Major+ as the result of recent player roster additions. Both groups will now play three-team Double Elimination Brackets for the respective championships.
MEN'S 55-AAA - The withdrawal of the California Blackhawks (health issues) has reduced the 55-AAA's from eight to seven teams.

Revisions were nominal at Hunter Park and Pioneer Park in Mesquite, but extensive at The Canyons Complex in St. George (Affecting ALL divisions of play EXCEPT the Men's and Women's 40-Masters). PLEASE check for your team's first game time, which MAY have been changed to an earlier time than as originally posted ... Revised DRAFT game schedules and brackets have been posted with an effective date of 03/16/2011. We apologize for any inconveniences, and good luck to all!!
