what players think of people getting their bats rolled. Is it illeagl? do you think it just makes the break-in period shorted? I have debated MK at length about this question, but would like to have other imput. MK compared it hitting a bat aganist a tree he thinks that also is illeagl. I believe that only breaks the bat in faster and make the bat last longer, and has a bigger sweet spot. How about you?

I don't know whether rolling or hitting a tree is illegal, but anyone who was at Papago Park on Thursday and Friday of the 60's tournament saw the Miken rep repeatedly pound bats against the light poles in full view of tournament officials.

I don't know if a light pole and a tree would be the same. But I have saw many players Hit poles and trees like you said in front of TD's . Point in fact the ASA world in Burlington NC I saw two players hitting a tree with two new bats trying to get a better sweet spot on them. the field super was standing there laughing at them.
