Congrats to Chicago Classics
I'm the Leftfielder from the Travelodge 50 Major Team and would like to offer my congrats to Chicago Classics for their Phoenix Championship. We have played them 4 times this year with 3 of the games being decided by 1 run. We had another classic battle this past weekend in Phoenix. I really enjoy competing against your team and respect your team and accomplishments this year. Hope to battle you guys again next year.

Congrats to Chicago Classics
Tim,

Thank you for your congratulations to our team. To say we battled this year would be an understatement.

We had an incredible year starting last November in Ft. Myers. We won the SSUSA Winter World in Ft. Myers, the ISF World In Manassas, the SPA World in Plano, the SSUSA Eastern Nationals in Lansing, Nationals and World in Phoenix resulting in the triple crown. We played in ten tournaments and won nine. Our only blemish was a third at the LVSSA World where we finished third due to two one-run losses to your team. We knew we had to get past your team to win in Phoenix.

We had 12 guys from last year and three new players. One ruptured his acheeles tendon in his first game in Phoenix and another played hurt. We didn't blow anyone away in Phoenix but we played good, consistent softball and obviously had some luck based on our 4 one-run victories.

Next month will be my graduation party in Ft. Myers since I am moving to the 55's having just finished my eigth year with the 50's. I'm sure our path's will cross again on the fields some day. Until then we wish you and your team good fortune.
Thanks again.

Gary,

The roster we started the year with is the roster we kept throughtout the year--no exceptions. That is a great question to ask a lot of teams this year.

Hey Bob were you able to find out if Terry Hovseth was from McHenry?

SAG,

Terry Hoveseth is one of our pitchers and he is from McHenry. He said he remembers you. In a couple of weeks we are getting together for a party. He doesn't do email--give me a way for him to reach you. Thanks.

Bob,

Glad to hear he is still playing. Find out if he is at the same address he was at years ago in Lakeland Park. I will send him a letter.
Thanks
Steve
