| May 17 DaveDowell Men's 70 4323 posts | ROCK 'n RENO CHALLENGE CUP 2011 • DRAFT Game Schedules & Brackets DRAFT Game Schedules and Brackets for SESSION #1 (Men's 50's and 55's) of the 2011 Rock 'n Reno Challenge Cup have been posted and are available from the links below and on the event's Tournament Page ... As always, these TENTATIVE schedules are subject to change and become final ONLY when released as "OFFICIAL" at the Manager's meeting before play commences ... NOTE: Managers who do NOT attend will be presumed to be fully informed on ALL matters (such as schedule changes, tourney formats and rules issues) discussed at the meeting. Tournament rosters are “frozen” as of the Manager’s Meeting. NO on-site player additions are allowed without Tournament Director approval before team’s first game. Managers who do not attend Manager Meeting, and do not send a representative, will be prohibited from beginning tournament play before check-in with Field Director and are prohibited from Roster additions ... | May 22 DaveDowell Men's 70 4323 posts | r TENTATIVE FIELD ASSIGNMENTS CHANGE • SESSION #3 There has been a Tentative Field Assignments change affecting the 40-Masters Divisions, both for the Men and the Women, in Session #3 (June 3-5) ... The following Divisions have been moved to the Reno Softball Complex at Rancho San Rafael Park for Saturday and Sunday ... • WOMEN'S 40-MASTERS AA DIVISION 1. B.O.O.B.'s (CA) 2. Saints (AZ) 3. Steel Runnin' (CA) 4. Utah Relics 5. Vintage (CA) • MEN'S 40-MASTERS AAA DIVISION 1. Big Dawg Softball (CA) 2. Magic Sports Vengeance (CA) 3. Northwest Legends/Miller/Coors (WA) 4. PTV (CA) 5. SofaKing Softball (CA) All Women's 40-Masters AAA Division and Men's 40-Masters Major Division teams will remain scheduled in Carson City ... The changes were required because of the unexpected volume of entries in the 40-Masters Divisions ... Had we not made this change, the tournament would have run continuously from 8:00 AM on Saturday morning through 3:30 PM Sunday afternoon, with the only team/field breaks having been at 5:00 AM (two fields) and 6:30 AM (four fields) on Sunday morning before resuming play at 8:00 AM! There were related nominal changes to the Men's 60-Platinum Division on Friday schedule to accommodate the 40-Master teams at Rancho San Rafael over the weekend ... The 60-Major Division bracket now begins Friday afternoon instead of Saturday morning ... |

| May 24 DaveDowell Men's 70 4323 posts | r SESSION #2 MAJOR REVISION • Due to two rating re-classifications in the Men's 70+ AAA/AA Divisions, significant revisions have been made to the Session #2 DRAFT schedules. These changes DO NOT affect the Men's 75+ and 80+ Divisions playing at Shadow Mountain Softball Complex. Updated DRAFT Game Schedules and Brackets for BOTH the Men's 65's and 70's (marked 2nd DRAFT ONLY) have been posted and are available from the event Tournament page. Good luck to all! |
| May 25 DaveDowell Men's 70 4323 posts | r TEAM WITHDRAWAL REVISION • 60-AAA - The withdrawal of the Fountain Valley Outlaws (injury issues) has reduced the Men's 60-AAA from 24 to 23 teams. Minor changes were required to the Friday Round Robin seeding game schedule. The two teams that would have played Ftn. Valley at 11:00 AM and 12:30 PM (Last Call and Scrap Iron/Phiten) will now play each other at 9:30 AM, which is earlier than as originally scheduled for those teams. One other game was moved to a later start time (11:00 AM) to accommodate this new match-up. The seeding game revisions have been posted. Bracket revisions are currently under construction and will be posted later today (Wednesday). |
