Discussion: 50 Major+ National Champ game?

I see that the National Championship game is listed on both the 50 Major and 50 AAA draws, but not on the 50 Major+ draw. Does that mean that there will not be one, or is the game time still TBD?

Thanks.

udaplayer - There was no 50-Major Champion out of the Eastern Nationals. Windy City Softball won the Easterns by default as the only 50-Major+ team there, but was subsequently re-rated to Major after the event. As such, they will not play in the 50-Major+ National game because they are at a different facility than EBO. Because of this, BOTH EBO (50-Major) and Windy City (50-Major+) will be declared National Champions in their respective divisions, BOTH will receive the National Champions Awards package (Mike Bat Bags and Trophy) and BOTH remain eligible for Triple Grand Slam status should either of them win their respective bracket.

Ok, no game and both will be declared Major+ champ's, correct? i will assume it was a typo listing EBO as Major in your comments above.

See you in a few days.

udaplayer - You're correct as to both receiving Nat'l Champ status and awards ... I was right about Windy City as Eastern Major+ Champs ... But since they were re-rated down to Major, they don't earn a spot in the 'Major Deal' and they don't get (or likely want) to travel cross-town to play EBO ... Easier on all parties, and fair, to double-award both teams ... Heck, at least it made sense to us!

If Windy City is now the Eastern National Champion, does that mean they will now get bumped back up to Major-plus once and for all?

Dave, you mean Windy City was re,re,re,re,re,re rated!
