First off Jerry and I want to thank all the guys that participated this weekend at our inaugural “Toys for Kids” tournament. Your generosity and consideration for the children in the Hemet Valley was absolutely overwhelming. Over 500 toys were collected and given to the United Way of the Hemet Valley. We even had a cash donation from a team that couldn't attend. This was a pet project of mine since my son-in-law teaches 4th grade at a local area school. The stories I hear about theses little kids is freighting sometimes. It is so heartwarming to know some of the kids from his class and many more in the area will have something for Christmas. For many of them these toys will be the only gifts they will get for Christmas. So from the bottom of my heart God bless each and every one of you!

Results: 18 teams braved the cold weather in So Cal on Saturday. The windy and cold conditions didn't deter anyone from having a little fun. On Sunday we got a break even though it was 25 degrees at 6:45 AM when I entered the facility. The day turned out to be a very nice day, clear and in the mid 60s. With majestic views of the valley and spectacular views of the mountains in the distance three teams emerged as champions in the 3 competitive divisions . Division 1: LAF, Division 2: Grants Posse and in Division 3: R&R 60s.

Special thanks to all that participated and contributed to this charity event: So Cal 55s, LAF, NCI, D&K, Top Gun 50s, Top Gun Thunder, Top Gun Silver, South Bay 50s, Kamikaze, 911, So Cal Knights, Grants Posse, Primetime, FV Outlaws, So Cal Gusto, R&R 60s, Menifee All Stars, OTE and OC Mustangs. For those teams that couldn't attend because you're on the mend... Get Well soon. We miss you!
You guys are all Champions in my book. From Jerry and I and all our Umpires Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday's. We hope to CU all January 7-8 Marv
