Some years ago, I worked as a mail carrier in one of Birmingham, Alabama's suburbs. Two of my co-workers were known to be big golfing buddies. I arrived early at the office one Saturday morning and was conversing with my supervisor, when the phone rang. It was about 5:45 a.m. and the sun was just starting to peak over the horizon. Co-worker #1 was on the phone with my supervisor. "Joe, I need to take off this morning; I am sick." Less than 30 seconds later, the phone rang again. It was co-worker #2. "Joe, I'm sick too!" My supervisor, Joe, intermittently cursed and laughed for the next hour!

Anyone else have an "OOPS" to share?
