Unlimited HRS?
Just a question: Why not make HRs unlimited for all levels of play? If one limits scoring to 5, 6, or 7 runs per inning, the game would go quicker! All teams would eventually be categorized into their level of play. Power hitters would not be inclined to go up the middle.

This would be appropriate for all organizations with any bat and any ball.

What would be the down side? I don\'t see any and nobody addressed this issue during previous discussions.

It sounds good for upper team but it will never happen. Lower division teams will have players sandbagging to play. Will make senior softball go to the wayside. The only division that it would work in is Major +. But 7 runs a inning would still make players not want to play. Spa has the best rules for HR's last year We have to see how Ridge's new rule changes turn out this year. But Ridge does listen to the player and try to do the right thing to make senior softball the best game in town
