2011 Committee Report
Just what I figured would get done ... NOTHING! All the great discussions and suggestions of the past year(s) that would make the game much better for all involved basically gets shot down, or in other words "tabled to allow for additional statistical analysis and study". Everything is not based on statistics and how much study do you need? It's right in front of your face! A little common sense would be helpful to see that the senior game is not what it should be or what most players want, but that is obviously not thought of as important enough. I'm done banging my head against the wall ... I'll "table" my thoughts from now on.

Would bet most but not all have their mind made up before getting on the plane to vacationland. err FL. Otherwise they might be there until next year sometime.
Does anyone honestly think the players have a say? Oh yes, a say & is heard, but not worked with or initiated. After all it wasn't one of the actual voices that count that submitted it. I would think.
That would mean control was not total and therefore dismissed as a valid argument.
Quite the shame because many on here have expressed good ideas. However it isn't the only place where it's a controlled environment look around at the other assn's they are pretty much the same people every year. Year after year. That applies to the small home town ones to the bigger ones as well.
Other wise known as the good ole boys club amongst other things.
Still they carry on and do great things but nothing is changing but the time of day.
I wonder why some votes had 8 people voting while others had up to 11. Seems odd some wouldn't vote and if not voting, isn't that an abstention?
Isn't this a ratio of about 1 = 1,000+...
Seems a lot of tabling of discussions goes on but it is what it is.
Can see the tabling on the baselines , but You might run into problems with some cities changing their lines to 70 because of the field size* and cost to do so.
* that would likely also involve taking out the grassy areas in some cases to give the appropriate playing field.
At least some items were completed.
I honestly think the CA & FL players\teams got pushed off a very steep cliff & only time will tell if they had a parachute.
