| Dec. 14 Capt Kirk 541 posts | Annual Awards Banquet - January 10, 2012 SASSL is holding its Annual Awards Banquet on Tuesday night, January 10, 2012 at the Live Oak Civic Center, live Oak, TX. Awards will be passed out to all winning teams during the 2011 playing season, A buffet steak dinner with all the trimmings will be prepared by Outback Steak House (Forum Location). Included in the $15/person price will be plenty of drinks and desserts. Lots of door prizes will be awarded. Tickets are going fast so please buy your tickets early before the January 3rd cut-off date. Over 300 people are expected to attend. |
| Dec. 14 Capt Kirk 541 posts | Corky Pellien, SSUSA National/International Sales Rep, will be at our banquet. He will have a choice of bats/gloves and etc from different manufacturers. Corky, supports our league by providing hitting seminars at our league practices. |

| Dec. 15 Capt Kirk 541 posts | #6, Corky and I would put on hitting a clinic together, I would demonstrate my hitting technique(s) and Corky would spend the rest of the clinic trying to correct mine. Hope to see you on the field soon, have a merry christmas and a happy new year. |

| Dec. 17 Capt Kirk 541 posts | SASSL is planning on hosting a Senior Softball Tournament the last weekend of Feb. The league will hold the tournament at Normoyle Park in San Antonio, TX. We will have mens divisions in the 50'S, 60'S, 65'S, & 70'S. More info will be forthcoming. |
