New Team Looking for Players....
Hello,My name is Eurskine Lyons, and i am from the Atlanta Georgia area.I am forming a 50+ Team here in the area, and i am looking for good ball players to add to the one's i already have.Experienced and knowledge is a must.Plans are to start out as AAA the first year and then we will or the association will make the assessment to stay as is or we move up.If you are interested in joining the Squad, send me an email at eurskine@aol.com or call me at 404-867-6421(cell).The Team name is the MONARCHS. I also coach a 40+ Team here in the Atlanta area, and we came in first Nationally last year in the 40+ Division (USSSA).We have about 7 players that turn 50 last year, and we decided to start a MONARCHS 50+ Team as well.If you are interested in joining a serious team that have fun and play ball, get in touch with me.

Welcome to Senior Softball!!
I believe we played you last year in a 40+ division. I played with Southern Slam.
Hope to see you and your team around this season.

Yep,That was the 40+ squad,a couple of the guys wanted to move-up,so we decided to take about 7 of us,pick-up about 7 or 8 more and play Senior ball.We will play AAA unless they move us up or we decide to make that jump.

I am doing my scheduling now--trying to get about 6 or 7 tournaments in this year, starting in March. I will do only SPA..SSUSA..AND A BASA TOURNAMENT.Next year, if they still want to play, we will increase our tournaments. Not sure about Bham.

Erk, since you gave me a Vietnam Vet cap, we'll just call it an even swap. That is, unless you just need to clean out your closet!

Hi Eurskine... Do you know of any 40+ womens teams in the Atlanta area that may be starting up or looking for new players. I just moved to Nashville from Cali. Very familiar with BASA Tournament ball as well.

Hello Rabbit....Been in the area for about 20 years, and i honestly have not seen any Teams that fall in the 35-40 year catagory.A lot of the Ladies play down with the younger ladies, and some go to other states to play with other teams.Couple of things....Where are you in Tenn?BASA and BSC has a website, and they hold 35 and older tournaments.Connie Bryan is the womens director for Georgia, she has a better Handle on it ,and whats out there.Go to the USSSA website...click on find a director...then click on Georgia, then look for Connie Bryan, womens sports director for numbers.I am the Masters Sports Coordinator for usssa(men),and right now,i am trying to get a handle on tournaments for 40+Softball here in the state of Georgia. When you get a chance, call me on my cell # 404-867-6421,I will help you all i can,on this matter.
