EVENT: First Annual New England SSWC (Senior Softball World Championship) Qualification Tournament
DATES: Friday & Saturday, May 5-6
LOCATION: North Branford, CT
SITE: Connecticut Sportsplex (A state-of-the-art five field complex, the best softball complex in New England. For pictures and more information log on to the CT Sportsplex website, www.ctsportsplex.com.)

DIVISIONS: Men's 50+, 55+, 60+, 65+ and 70+
(NOTE: Players will be allowed to play in more than one age division in this tournament. Also,a senior women's division will be established if there is enough interest.)
SKILL LEVELS: Accommodations will be made for all skill levels (Major Plus, Major, AAA & AA). Depending on the number of registrants in a given skill level, some teams may have to be recognized as exhibition teams and will not compete in divisional play and will not be eligible for awards.

GAME GUARANTEE: Each team will be guaranteed five games including exhibition teams.
ENTRY FEE: $325 / team (Checks are to be made out to the Connecticut Sportsplex.)
(NOTE: The entry fee has been raised from the fee originally shown in the tournament section of the SSUSA's website due to increased umpire costs. The SSUSA (Senior Softball USA) is the host association of the SSWC.)
TEAM REGISTRATION: Teams must be registered with the SSUSA for 2006.
PLAYER REGISTRATION: All players must have a current SSUSA player ID card.

The Minnesota Masters will attend this tournament and are looking forward to playing out east for the first time in their club history. The Minnesota Masters welcome the opportunity to take on some of the senior teams from the Eastern seaboard as well as sample some of the scrumptious seafood served in New England.
