Just purchased from DirectSport.com the New 2012 Worth 454 Senior Bat 34/28 balance, as and aside Worth owns Miken.
This Bat is Super Hot out of the wrapper, hitting balls off the back of the fence. With only 75 swings on the bat

Thanks MrBill, I was wondering about this one. Now, has anyone tried the DeMarini "The One". Inquiring minds want to know.

We just took 100 cuts on a 27 and to be completely frank, it was BAD! Its by FAR the worst senior bat any of us had ever tried ! In our case, three people used the bat for around 30 cuts a piece. NO ONE hit the ball out of the 310 feet park ! All three of us commonly hit at least 50% of our balls out with Mikens.

When a senior bat comes with a warranty...automatic red flag in my opinion. We hit this bat and we felt the DeMarini Larry Carter model was hotter.

Ok, thanks. That's really too bad as I thought that one might have promise. A couple of the guys on my team have the older Worth Senior Toxics and the ball seems to fly off of them pretty well.

My friend Mike Robbins just bought a 454 as well. I called and asked him about it and he echoed our thoughts. He is trying to sell it !!!

I have a DEMARINI "The One" senior bat (27 oz.). Has pop like all the other senior bats I have. Haven't used it much. A rep had told me they got 4 to try out and all of them broke with the longest one lasting about 150 or so swings. I have less than 100 on mine with no gametime swings. In my bag: MIKEN Ultra II USA & MaxLoad (red), COMBAT Centenarian/Senior Gear/Red EL, WORTH Toxic XXX and 454, REEBOK Balanced and EndLoaded. All are 27 oz. Broke one black MIKEN Ultra II last year.
