| Jan. 27 DaveDowell Men's 70 4323 posts | DRAFT Game Schedules and Brackets for 2012 SSUSA Original Tournament of Champions in Polk County, FL, have been posted and are available from the links below and on the event's Tournament Page ... As always, these TENTATIVE schedules are subject to change and become final ONLY when released as "OFFICIAL" at the Manager's meeting the evening before play commences ... NOTE: Managers who do NOT attend the meeting will be presumed to be fully informed on ALL matters (such as schedule changes, tourney formats and rules issues) discussed at the meeting. Tournament rosters are “frozen” as of the Manager’s Meeting. NO on-site player additions are allowed without Tournament Director approval before team’s first game. Managers who do not attend Manager Meeting, and do not send a representative, will be prohibited from beginning tournament play before check-in with Field Director and are prohibited from Roster additions ... The Master Games & Fields Grid and Participating Teams List have also been posted ... Good luck to all! | Feb. 2 DaveDowell Men's 70 4323 posts | REVISION - MEN'S 65/70-PLATINUM • The tournament format has been revised for the Men's 65/70-Platinum Division at Loyce Harpe Park. Rather than play a 4-team double elimination bracket (with two pre-determined champions), those two teams will play a Best 2 of 3 Series on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. The remaining teams, Agility/Joseph Chevrolet and the Southeast Seventies, will play a Best 2 of 3 Championship series in the 70-Major Plus. This ensures the 70-Major Plus Championship is determined solely through head-to-head competition. The affected schedules (and the Master Planning Grid) have been revised accordingly and are available online. |
| Feb. 7 DaveDowell Men's 70 4323 posts | REVISION - MEN'S 50-SILVER DIVISION • This division has been revised to reflect the Monday withdrawal by the Sports Line Bulls (TX). The Division now becomes six teams, four AAA and two AA. They will play a mixed three-game seeding set prior to the respective Championship brackets. The revised Seeding schedule and Brackets, Master Games and Fields Schedule and Team List have been posted online and are available from the links above and from the Tournament page. | Feb. 8 DaveDowell Men's 70 4323 posts | FUN MINI-TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE • The 2012 Fun Mini-Tournament schedule has been generated and is available from the linbk below and from the tournament page ... This is strictly a fun event to 'knowck the rust off' and get in a few swings in a very casual environment at Aubuurndale Sports Complex ... FREE AGENTS • Many teams will NOT have a full complement of players for the Mini-Tournament. "Free Agent" players are encouraged to come to the ball park READY TO PLAY. The Field Directors will facilitate placing you on any teams that are short players in/near your age group. FORMAT • • Short Format two-game Round Robin - Home team bats in bottom of 3rd regardless of the score! - Enjoy! • Roster Rule - Un-restricted Rosters - Pick-up players from other teams are encouraged, if needed • Equalizers - NONE - This is a FUN tourney, but make a deal with your opponent if you can! • Home Runs - Two (2) per team per game, Outs • Time Limits - 35 minutes, finish current inning • Run Limits - Five runs per ½ inning at bat - NO OPEN INNINGS MINI-TOURNEY SCHEDULE: • Auburndale Mini Schedule |
