| Feb. 21 SSUSA Staff 3505 posts | The following are the TENTATIVE Field Assignments for the 2012 Rock 'n Reno Challenge Cup. Please note that TENTATIVE means they are NOT FINAL and are SUBJECT TO CHANGE. Final Field Assignments will be released simultaneous with the publication of the DRAFT Game Schedules and Brackets in May. NOTE: The Reno/Sparks facilities are: • Golden Eagle Regional Park (Sparks) • Shadow Mountain Softball Complex (Sparks) • Reno Softball Complex at Rancho San Rafael (Reno) The Carson City facility is: • Centennial Park Softball Complex SESSION #1 • Men's 40-Masters, Men's 60's and All Women's Ages/Divisions• ALL Ages and Divisions will play at the Reno/Sparks Facilities from Saturday, May 26th thru Monday, May 28th.SESSION #2 • Men's 65's, 70's, 75's and 80's• ALL Ages and Divisions will play at the Reno/Sparks Facilities from Tuesday, May 29th thru Thursday, May 31st.SESSION #3 • Men's 50's and 55'sSession #3 runs from Friday, June 1st thru Sunday, June 3rd.• Men's 50-Major Plus - Reno/Sparks Facilities • Men's 50-Major - Reno/Sparks Facilities • Men's 50-AAA - Reno/Sparks Facilities • Men's 50-AA - TBD (depending on number of entries) • Men's 55-Major Plus - Centennial Park Carson City • Men's 55-Major - Centennial Park Carson City • Men's 55-AAA - Centennial Park Carson City • Men's 55-AA - TBD (depending on number of entries) |
| May 10 SSUSA Staff 3505 posts | TENTATIVE FIELD ASSIGNMENT REVISIONS • The following revisions are being announced for the Tentative Field Assignments for the 2012 Rock 'n Reno Challenge Cup: • MEN'S 50-AA & 55-AA will be playing at Centennial Park in Carson City, making their first appearance there in four years (last: 2008) • MEN'S 55-MAJOR PLUS will be playing in Reno/Sparks due to the number of teams entered to date (7). Moving this division accomplishes a required balancing of the number of teams between the two locations. Good luck to all! |
