Field Assignment for Las Vegas April 28 and 29th
Why is it that the women's 40's and 50's teams always get thrown undrneath the bus when it comes to field assignments. The park we are playing, I have never heard of and I have relative that stayed in Las Vegas and they never heard of this park. We have relatives, friends and spouses playing out there on April 28th and 29th and we will not get to see one game because we are too far away from the mens 40's. It use to be we would play at the same park. Its bad enough we had to do it in arizona, now we are doing it here in Las Vegas. It sure takes the fun out of things. I'm just saying.

I agree, yes we come out there to play but it would make the trip a whole lot better if we were able to see somebody, anybody else play. It's make the day better when you can see other age groups play, but I quess the Women 40 will not have a chance to see anybody play this weekend. That just ain't right..

From what I've heard, Dos Esquelas, is a brand new complex, and is beautiful.

Field Assignment - Here we go again with the park situation. Why do we always have to be at a park with no concession stands and decent bathroom. We are women and women need to do a little bit more than men. Hollywood Park and Don E park are no parks for women. Once again we far away from wveryone else. Why Why Why

Also please cut the grass at Dos Esquelas. You can have a easter egg hunt and lose the eggs. The balls stops right in the infield

While I've played at Hollywood twice in years past and agree it is at the edge of town or was back then, it was or did have, good fields. Other park was not built back then.
Many parks age a drive away for seeing other teams play of as I like to do, meet players.
One positive note on those parks is with 300' fences if you hit a gaper and can run, you might earn an in the park HR.
Have not played in Henderson anywhere. It is unfortunate all the Women couldn't have played at the same park, but you gals had a good showing and probably just too many for that at least.
Personally I enjoy women play softball, it is the only sport I go to to see the teams play
Just don't count on short fences like 210-220. They used to place women at Shadow Mtn some years past w\285 or so fences but I haven't seen it mentioned or used lately.
Hope you did well there.
