| June 5 DaveDowell Men's 70 4323 posts | TEXAS STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS 2012 • DRAFT Game Schedules & Brackets DRAFT Game Schedules and Brackets for SESSION #1 of the 2012 Texas State Championships in Dallas, TX, have been posted and are available from the links below and on the event's Tournament Page ... As always, these TENTATIVE schedules are subject to change and become final ONLY when released as "OFFICIAL" at the Manager's meeting before play commences ... NOTE: Managers who do NOT attend the meeting will be presumed to be fully informed on ALL matters (such as schedule changes, tourney formats and rules issues) discussed at the meeting. Tournament rosters are “frozen” as of the Manager’s Meeting. NO on-site player additions are allowed without Tournament Director approval before team’s first game. Managers who do not attend Manager Meeting, and do not send a representative, will be prohibited from beginning tournament play before check-in with Field Director and are prohibited from Roster additions ... The Master Games & Fields Grid has been posted and the Participating Teams Tab has been activated ... Good luck to all! | June 7 DaveDowell Men's 70 4323 posts | r RAIN-OUT RESCHEDULING • Due to the rain-out caused loss of the Thursday schedule, the following changes were made to the Texas State Championships game and bracket schedules: • GAME FORMAT - Friday (ONLY) games will begin at 1:00 PM. All games will be five innings, with the 5th inning the open inning. The games are scheduled on a 1:15 time slot basis. • MEN'S 65+ - Seeding games have been eliminated. The Men's 65-Major will play their Best 2 of 3 Championship series on Friday afternoon/evening beginning at 4:45 PM. The Men's 65-AAA will play their Double Elimination bracket sequentially (entirely on Field #7) beginning at 1:00 PM. There is a half-hour team/rest break built in before the Championship game. • MEN'S 70+ - The Men's 70+ will play one warmup game at 1:00 PM on Fields #5-6 prior to the respective Best 2 of 3 Championship Series for the 70-AAA and 70-AA titles. This is a change from the former 4-team double elimination bracket format. • MEN'S 60+ - The Men's 60+ Division will commence their Seeding games at 1:00 PM rather than 8:00 AM. The match-ups are unchanged, but field assignments have changed to allow for all of those games to occur in the main quad. Bracket play will commence at 5:15 PM with the same number of bracket games being played as previously published. Field assignments for some of those games have changed. ALL OF THESE CHANGES ARE ONLINE NOW, WITH AN EFFECTIVE REVISION DATE OF 06/07/2012. The Saturday and Sunday schedules remain unchanged as of this posting (12:15 PM PDT).
