Aug. 3 BruceinGa Men's 70 3233 posts | A teammate from the 2010 and 2011 season is now looking for a team. His 2012 50 major team has just broken up and he is looking for another. He hits with power (that's why they call him Tater), runs good and plays 3rd base. He lives in NC so he can play on a team based out of any of the adjoining states, either 50 or 55 age group. You can call him on his cell, 864-641-5824. |
Aug. 3 Tater50 Men's 60 336 posts | Bruce: thanks for the info on Wayne; gave him a call; he would be a good fit for our Columbus 55 team. The 55 coach is going to call him & work out some details. The 55 team is a AAA team & I checked the IP List & did not see him on there; does he qualify to play AAA? |
Aug. 3 BruceinGa Men's 70 3233 posts | If I were you I'd check with Staff. He played this season with a 50 major team. He's over 55 so I'd think he could play 55AAA. Maybe someone will chime in. |
Aug. 4 birdie Men's 70 802 posts | There is a Chart on the earlier discussion board regarding this. I think that it is about playing in the same year in two different age brackets. I am planning on playing 65 some next year but according to the chart I would have to play 65 Major Plus. I might as well retire. I believe that I will be allowed to play 65 AAA if that is my only team. If I play 60 major in 2013 I will not be allowed to play 65AAA.I hope that I am wrong. Staff can you help me out. Thanks Harry |
Aug. 5 BruceinGa Men's 70 3233 posts | Staff, the question here is these players are older than the age bracket they are playing in. When figuring eligibility, do you take into consideration the player's age or only the age bracket they are current competing in? |
