I had a lumbar MRI there today, and I will not go anywhere else. |
| Aug. 7, 2012 taits Men's 65 4038 posts | Is there a name &\or model number for this thing. I went through that lumbar think earlier this year and that was a bitch. Have had shoulders done 3 times, I hate these contraptions. Not to forget the knees as well. |
| Aug. 7, 2012 HJ Men's 65 354 posts | Comfort of the test is one issue only. You should be concerned about the amount of radiation from different MRI machines, particularly if you are having multiple MRIs. |
| Aug. 7, 2012 taits Men's 65 4038 posts | I agree on that but if your not 'comfortable', you'll move the mess up the scan & need a redo of that portion. Lower backs are about a 45 min job, some are longer. Not easy to sit perfectly still in a tunnel that you are in very snugly. The noise is another thing even with headphones and music. I've had\needed so many I probably glow in the dark...lol |
