Aug. 7, 2012 Capt Kirk 541 posts | OPEN MRI MACHINE-STAND UP OR SIT DOWN The ultimate MRI Machine, stand up or sit down, open open open, not a torture chamber, watch the news on a large screen and it's over 20-25 minutes (American Dynamic Imaging in San Antonio). I had a lumbar MRI there today, and I will not go anywhere else. |

Aug. 7, 2012 taits Men's 65 4548 posts | I agree on that but if your not 'comfortable', you'll move the mess up the scan & need a redo of that portion. Lower backs are about a 45 min job, some are longer. Not easy to sit perfectly still in a tunnel that you are in very snugly. The noise is another thing even with headphones and music. I've had\needed so many I probably glow in the dark...lol |
