Regarding the Top Gun T, in San Clemente this weekend, Aug 24-26.
Breaking SSUSA rules, a blatant disregard. 55, Yes, FIFTY-FIVE min games then open inning... Sucks.
Looking at the info, it appears that many games could find themselves playing 4-5 inning games. But would also depend on time spent for each team doing their respective jobs defending and hitting, as well as changing sides. lol
Darn good showing with about 33 teams on just four fields... but I think it's stretching the day light a bit. Is that trying to conserve lighting costs... what ever.

SSUSA you need to verify, no make that, CERTIFY your TD's here and everywhere, should not be otherwise, they are under your umbrella.

My thoughts on it.

In as much as this T has not started yet, perhaps something is in the pipe line for making it 'right'. But I am surprised nothing has been commented about considering it's your money and it happens, none the less.
From the other thread with SSUSA's reply:
:
"...why the 50 minute time limit for every game Saturday during pool play and every bracket game on Sunday?... Our rules are very specific as to time limits, and we expect independent TD's to run qualifiers according to our rule book. We will inquire as to what happened here and, if your version of the facts is correct, 'why not?' comply with the rules in this case.

Seems they SSUSA, would know what's going on and reply here like they did in the other, but diid not.
However, I can think of one reason they have not.

Still, I hope they made forced a schedule change.
I will find out later, one way or another.

BW,
No dog, just concern for what is supposed to be right. It they want to screw the players so be it if the assn wants to allow it it says a lot for them too. Two wrongs don't make it right.
After all it is their, SSUSA, rule, under their umbrella, and reflects upon them in a negative way again. Hate to see it happen here, with nothing done. I thought the assn was better than that. We'll see how integrity works here.

Your dog should be glad a bone was thrown your way, time wise. lol
Hope it all works out.
LotsÊof 'free' time, too.
