There are many online of different sizes and specifically for the heart.
Might consider putting a large phone book in a bag and strap in around you... only kidding.

I would go with an umpire chest protector that has removable parts.

Champro Pro-Plus Plate Armor Umpire Chest Protector (#CP23)

There is one cheaper, but you can't remove the shoulder pads.

Never purchase anything from Champ-Pro. They should change the name to Cheap-Pro, because that applies to most of their products.

Keep looking, and see if you can find a heart guard, not a chest protector.

Evoshield makes a heart guard chest and back protector about $90.00. Hope this helps!
