On behalf of Second Wind (Olympia, WA), I express deep appreciation to Tom Fordham of Shawn Montee for the kind words and salute his team mates. Since our first meetings-on-the-field in Reno and now after the NW Championships in Portland, the degree of genuine friendship and respect between our teams is unmatched in my experience. Sportsmanship is spelled Shawn Montee. To the extent we rose to your level in that essential area, you pay us the ultimate compliment.

I think Tom is the catcher and I have particularly high regard for catchers. Manager George Quiggle deserves special praise both as a gentleman and formidable player, among many others.

Thanks to SSUSA, we've met The Men of Shawn Montee--and will soon again meet in Seattle. We're proud to be cited as 'leaders' in this way.
