The week commenced with numerous special events, beginning on Wednesday, Feb. 3 with the hitting clinics in the morning and afternoon and the TOC All-Star game in the evening. The clinics gave players a chance to warm up and sharpen their skills before the tournament with some of the best hitters in the sport. The All-Star game featured a player from each TOC-competing team.

In the All-Star game, both teams scored early and often, as the American All-Star team led the National All-Star Team, 10-8, after three innings. Both offenses would continue to shine, as the American team held a 19-18 edge after six innings. Trailing 22-20 heading into the bottom of the eighth, the American All-Stars would score five runs to take a 25-22 lead, en route to their 25-23 victory.
