31 Teams Compete in Spring Training Classic

PHOENIX – The Spring Training Classic held here in early March had 31 teams compete.

Thunderstruck (AZ), the top seed in the six-team Men’s 50 AAA division, defeated Arizona Heat 50’s, 31-20, in the championship game. Team Southwest/Woodies 50 (NM) and AZ Prime Time reached the semifinals of bracket play as well.

4 The Fallen (AZ) edged out Arizona Old School 55, 26-25, in the championship game of the four-team Men’s 50/55 Major division.

Arizona Old School (60 Major) defeated Los Vatos Viejos (AZ) (55 AAA), 21-13, in the championship game of the seven-team 55/60 (AAA/M) division.

Sidewinders 60’s (AZ) defeated CJ & S Express (AZ), 15-13, in the six-team 60/65 (M/AAA/AA/Major Plus) division.

Rosso’s OTD (AZ) won the Men’s 65 division, while Sidewinders 70 (AZ) won the Men’s 70/75 division.
