Boise Senior Softball Association Gives Back

The Boise Senior Softball Association held its annual fundraiser earlier this year.

As an addition to the annual tournament, the league solicited used equipment from players to donate to the State of Idaho prison softball players. 

“The donations were well received and many new balls, gloves, and bats were donated,” said Jack McGee, a Board Member of the Boise Senior Softball Association, as well as a member of East-West Aircraft Sales 65. “These people have committed crimes against society, but are still humans. I would like to challenge other senior leagues to contact their prison or correctional facility and perhaps schedule a scrimmage or fundraiser.”
