Vandals, a Men’s 55 Major team based out of Southern California proudly displayed a specific logo their team uniform in 2019. That logo is for an organization called Pushing4Independence.
“I learned about Pushing4Independence though a friend,” said Tim Deering, a member of the Vandals. “I wanted to find a way to help create awareness and help out. I met with Shad Eischen (Founder) and he gave me the background on his organization”
“Pushing4Independence works with individuals and organizations like the Wounded Warrior Project, the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Children's Hospital.”
“They have seen hundreds of people find a new passion for life though physical activity and encouragement. Their goal is to become an all-encompassing network of support for individuals in wheelchairs and other disabilities. We have also purchased items from their website to help them raise money.”
Vandals will once again wear the Pushing4Indepence logo on their uniform in 2020.
