2010 SENIOR SOFTBALL WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS CALENDAR OF EVENTS

5-7 pm at the Four Points by Sheraton-Phoenix North

Manager Registration

Managers for the Men’s 60 Division, Men’s Masters 40 Division and all Women’s Divisions register and receive their programs and schedules from 5 to 7 pm at the Headquarters Hotel Four Points by Sheraton-Phoenix North.

5:30-6:30 pm at the Four Points by Sheraton-Phoenix North

Open CPR / AED / First Aid Training

Safety-training course at the Four Points by Sheraton-Phoenix North is open to umpires, managers and players. Participants receive certification (CPR/AED Card). This course directly led to saving four lives in the last two seasons and is highly recommended. Call 916-326-5303 to sign up.

7 pm at the Four Points by Sheraton-Phoenix North

Managers Meeting

Managers for the Men’s 60 Division, Men’s 40 Masters Division and all Women’s Divisions meet at the Four Points by Sheraton-Phoenix North. Managers will meet the directors of fields, review changes in schedules, hear details of awards, special events of the tournament and will be eligible to win prizes during drawings.

Friday, Oct. 15:



8 am at all fields the Games Begin

Seeding games for the World Championships begin at all fields. Players register before the first game. Some bracket games may be played in some divisions. National Games are scheduled to be played for the 60AA at Cesar Chavez, 60AAA at Papago Park, 60 Major at Desert West Park, and the Women’s 40 Masters Division at Mountain Vista Park.

Noon-1 pm at Rose Mofford Fields

Opening Ceremonies

There will be a Parade of Players, an Official Welcome from Maricopa County, and Hall of Fame Inductions.

Today is the culmination of play for the 60 Men’s Division, the Men’s 40 Master Division and all Women’s Divisions. Awards will be presented in ceremonies on the field after each of the Championship Games.
