Werner, Northeast Tourney Player, Dies

Donnie Werner, a well-known Northeast tournament player died at age 70 in New York State, according to Joe Bush, manager of Monkey Joe’s Big Nut Co.Werner also played with the Long Island Jaguars, the New York Streaks and the Jersey Jaguars.
Bush said that Werner “was a great teammate and a really good player. He had played with us for a number of years, but had been ill the last few years. We will miss his presence.”
Services were held in West Islip, N.Y.
