Thank you but I will stay with the Blue combat. My Centurian just isn't even close to MM.

I would buy a Blue Combat over anything else. I have nothing but good luck with all three of mine.

I had 3 of the yellow combats, 1 broke and the other 2 I traded away don't ask me why. I wasn't patient enough with the last 2. I have since bought 3 blue combats and love them. I broke out the first blue 1 in Reno last year in the snow and swing all weekend actually I even used it againist you the Baron's LOL. It did finally break in August. I have been using the seconded one since then and just unwrapped the third one and starting using in BP for about a month now. I also own a Centurian and it sucks it is durable with a very small sweet spot. It is 20 to 30 feet shorter than my blue ones. I went through 6 U2's in a year and half prior to buying the combats. I am not a very big guy either 5-6 170lbs. If I were going to buy another bat I would buy another blue combat and it would be endloaded. The believe the secrect is too break them properly, I put about 400 to 500 hits in BP with all of mine and I rotate it after every swing. I would rather pay 190 bucks for 1 blue combat than 180 bucks for 3 or 4 U2's.

Weebie you sound and seem to be a pretty smart guy, so I have to ask why in hell would you continue to buy U2's? The combat senior gear mm is hotter and a lot more durable bat. Just look around ask all the guys that have them (yellow and blue) how long have they owned them. The bat does take longer to break in but when it does look out. You spent around $1500.00 bucks for what a bat that you get 100 swings or less on. Invest $200.00 in a combat, you will be much happier and wealthier.

Hey Paco, I don't know about you but all of my Miken Ultra's broke in 300 swings or less. I broke 5 in the 2010 season 2 broke in the first 30 swings and another in about 100 swings. I even had one snap in half right above my hands on the handle and it was the 3rd tournamnet I use the bat. The last blue MM combat that I bought in April 2011 and broke in August 2011 probably had 700 to 800 cuts. In my opinion there is no better senior bat on the market based on my three priorities in order
1. Performance
2. Durability
3. Cost
I personally have and still own a Ultra2, Centurian and a Toxic and none of them match my Blue MM Combat. To me it has mad crazy pop, extreme duriabity and a fair and competive price. Shoot I can't afford to keep buying Ultra's my wife will make me quit playing softball. This is just my person thoughts and opinion, BLUE MM GEAR 2 Combat is the best bat for me and yes chicks dig the longball and little guys like me enjoy them even more. Thanks guys and good luck to all this season.

Good luck Dano, I really don't think you can go wrong with the bat, just remember is does take longer to break in. I proabaly hit 200 to 250 bats before mine broke in. Let us know what you think. SLOBALL I am interested in talking to you about those yellow MM.

Thanks again guys

I bought 2 blue MM last year and love them. I had 3 of the yellow ones broke 2 and traded 1 away. I did break one of the blues one last year got in April and it broke August. The bat did perform very well. I won't swing anything else, they do take longer to breakin than the Ultra's but they are much more durable. Sloball I would be interested in one of those yellow ones in a 27oz end load. I would recommend the blue MM, for me it out performs my Ultra's, Centurian and Toxic, there is no comparison in the durabilty aspect.

Jawood I am sorry to say I don't believe the 50 major teams can win againist the major plus teams such as longhorns and EBO when they have their real roster. The better 50 major teams can compete but not win. If you were at the regionals in Vacaville you would have seen it for yourself.
Remember a major team can only have 3 major plus players on a roster and a major plus can be completely full of major plus players , it doesn't make since thinking that they are going to beat them.

Am I reading this correctly, your team won a tournament in the east, south or somewhere other than west and you are warning the 50 major teams on the west coast to be ready for you? If so, I think that the teams are ready.

Discussion: Miken's defective bats

First of all I do know what I buying when I buy a miken. I just believe that a brand new bat shouldn't break in less than 40 swings in 90 degree weather with good balls. As I already said I do own combats and their performance and durabilty is fantastic. I dont have a problem hitting bombs either. I personally don't appreciate the way they (MIKEN, WORTH, K2 sports) do business. There is a thing called quality control and customer service that most companies try to provide. My last miken snapped in half right above hands and it only had 5 games on it, so am I unhappy hell yes. And yes I agree the combat mm and centurian are better bats. I just other players should be aware of this issue.

Discussion: Miken's defective bats

I recently purchased another grey miken 2 sepcial edition and just unwrapped it to break it in and in less than 60 cuts it cracked. This is the fourth or fifth one, I knew that they weren't very durable but to buy an new bat and to have it crack in less than 100 cuts is ridiclous. The said part is how bad miken customer service is about it. and yes I know Corky and all that bs, bottom line warranty or not, when the bat breaks like this they should replace it. I will never buy another Miken U2 the value isn't there, poor customer appreciation and service for maybe a little bit of distance not worth it. I already own combats and I will only purchase them from now. I really can't see the value in performace and durabity of the mikens over the combats at time. Bottom line they are not quality product.

Discussion: How do the other major teams feel about major and major plus in western national

First thing I am not afraid to step on the field againist the Mavericks and I don't think everyone else is either. The ideal team is to have the best player at each starting positon and back ups on the bench. Well my team doesn't have that luxury. So it makes it little difficult to compete againist these MAJOR+ teams, they are pretty solid all the way thru the line with solid subs.
