@sju...i'm surprised they didn't have your guys play at downing stadium. it mustve been fun thanks for the info. did you guys get any sort of media coverage? i'm sure if you guys played at hofstra you may have drawn better...mt vernon is more of a basketball football town although ken singleton is from there

Wow small world Tim cluess is you brother that's pretty cool. No family members on the team actually learned of the clippers through steve dimitry sight while I was searching for a teamm to play for. I was curious as to how somebody would break into big time travel softball and what kind of money did you guys make playin? What was it like To play at Mt Vernon stadium was it run down back then? What was Joe Galloway like?

im from the bronx and was wondering why the new york clippers only played on season and if there are any photos souvenirs uni etc left of the new york clippers? Did they play at old mt vernon stadium?
