Aug. 31, 2005 blaster57 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: how to win a ring And the plot continues to thicken in Des Moines! Theraldson seems to be able to reschedule games without notifying other team in order to receive a forfeit also. Des Moines, IA the home of the big screw. |
Aug. 30, 2005 blaster57 | Topic: General and miscellaneous Discussion: Des Moines close to a joke The NASCS Des Moines, Ia tournament named after Ken Maas who recently passed away was a travesty to his ideals. Changing game times without any notification to out of state teams while collaborating with home town teams to play 2 hours earlier would make Ken roll over in his grave. Sportsmanship, fair play, or just common decency was not present that day at Des Moines, IA. If a championship ring is important enough to those who would cheat to achieve it, Heaven help their souls. We all will invariably answer for our sins, and the association officers and directors of that tournament are no exception. |
