Many Major+ teams don't have the funds to do this. Johnny, will your team travel north this season into Washington? |

At least it's something where it was a huge advantage for the lower teams with the gift runs, HR rule AND a coin toss. Should be an option for the upper class team though. |

The extra fielder may make the batter think about going a different way, that's all I'm saying. Not very complicated...less hits up the middle, less chance of the pitcher getting hit. |

Don't you try to hit the ball where the defenders are not standing? I don't quite understand your idea that SSUSA should implement the 11th fielder for the younger groups, where it's being used now? It's not being used now, that was my point. |

Seeds don't matter that much to me either. We won Rock n Reno one year after going 0-3 in pool play (pool play was 3 games a number of years ago). I would like to see the seeding games mean more than just practice by having higher seeded teams earn home team advantage in bracket games. Home team is so important with every game close because of the 5 runs (7) per inning. This huge advantage is determined by a flip of a coin? Doesn't seem right. |

Obviously, it's hot most of the time and when it is, the game is a mush ball event which is not fun. As Mango states "it's only a matter of time" so if we all realize this, why are we doing nothing? Something needs to be done to reduce the odds of this happening. Is the Baden Fire the answer to the "best of both worlds" regarding a fair/safer ball? Possibly adding a few more HR's to the limits and/or allowing an 11th defender at the younger levels, like the 70's have to protect the pitcher a bit more. Let's not experience what Omar has mentioned as a possibility in the future! |

| Oct. 6, 2015 Jawood | Topic: Tournaments Discussion: 50 Major Plus Top 3 Don't know if you are just giving Tim the "business", but I think for a 55 Major-plus team to drop down and finish 2nd in the 50 Major division while playing 14 games a week after playing in the 55 tournament is a tremendous accomplishment! Don't know if they used anyone under 55? Actually 55 Major-plus and 50 Major have the same rating index. |

If you are losing by 10-15 runs to major teams (find that hard to believe with the 5 run inning limit), then appeal the right way as the staff and others have said. |
